The Journey begins...

After a mysterious virus killed all the human inhabitants of planet earth, the species of Great Apes, known as the Mangani, emerged from the Amazon jungle, slowly making their way to the coast. Contrary to popular belief, the Mangani did not originate from Africa. These intelligent apes had spent centuries spreading misinformation and rumor about their whereabouts. They were helped by the Earl of Greystoke (also known as Tarzan of the Apes), who spent the last years of his life on his private island in the Caribbean writing novels about his adventures in “Africa”.

Lord Greystoke became an honorary member of the Mangani when his parents died during an exploration of the Amazon. They were trying to find El Dorado, the Lost City of Gold. The crying baby was rescued by Kala of the Mangani, who brought him up as her own son.

The Mangani had heard about Tarzan's mysterious island. It was an island of peace, love and reggae. They had also heard the tales about the Ganja “wisdom weed”. They definitely wanted to gain more wisdom. Since, as everyone knows, from wisdom comes great wealth! So a lottery was held and only those who were able to secure a special token could join the expedition. And so 1000 EXPLORERS, led by their intrepid Queen, set sail to the island, hidden deep within the Devil's Triangle.

After many trials and tribulations, the Mangani managed to reach the island. They called the island “Rasta Island" and set about creating their Rasta paradise. They named their tribe the “RastaBudz". A neeta (bird) was released to let the rest of the Mangani know of their success.

A further 3000 PIONEERS set sail for Rasta Island, followed by 6000 SETTLERS a few months later.

They all set about creating their Rasta Paradise.
